Tokio Marine Kiln has announced its results for the 2017 year of account for its syndicates 510, 557 and 308 and has also released an updated forecast for the 2018 year of account.
The 2017 result of -2.3% of capacity is towards the top end of the previous forecast range, which was set between -6.8% and -1.8% of capacity.
The 2018 forecast loss forecast remains unchanged, with a range of between -5.6% and -0.6% of capacity.
The 2017 result of -14.7% of capacity is an improvement on the previous forecast range, which was set between -25.6% and -20.6% of capacity.
The 2018 forecast loss forecast has improved, from a range of between -4.6% and 0.4% to between -3.9% to 1.1% of capacity.
The 2017 account has been left open. The updated forecast loss has improved very marginally, from a range of between -52.5% and -47.5% to between -52.2% to -47.2% of capacity.
