Apollo Syndicate 1969 and SPAs 1971 and 6133: 2019 and 2020 Year of Account Forecasts

Apollo has released updated forecasts for the 2019 year of account and initial forecasts for the 2020 year of account for its syndicate 1969 and SPAs 1971 and 6133.

Syndicate 1969
The 2019 forecast has deteriorated by the range narrowing to between +2.5% and +7.5% of capacity (midpoint +5.0% profit). The previous forecast range was between +2.5% and +10.0% of capacity (midpoint +6.3% profit).
The first 2020 forecast is a range of between -5.0% and +5.0% of capacity (midpoint 0%).

SPA 1971
The 2019 forecast range is unchanged at between 0% and +7.5% of capacity (midpoint +3.8% profit).
The first 2020 forecast is a range of between 0% and +10.0% of capacity (midpoint +5.0% profit).

SPA 6133
The 2019 forecast range is unchanged at between -15.0% and -5.0% of capacity (midpoint -10.0% loss).
The first 2020 forecast is a range of between -32.5% and -22.5% of capacity (midpoint -27.5% loss).

Alpha comment

Whilst it is pleasing to see syndicate 1969 and SPA 1971 forecasting small profits, SPA 6133, being a catastrophe specialist, has been impacted by significant claims in 2020 and is forecasting yet another large loss.
