Chaucer has released updated forecasts for the 2020 and 2021 years of account for syndicate 1176.

The 2020 forecast has improved to between +32.5% and +42.5% of capacity, midpoint +37.5%. The previous forecast range was between +15% and +35% of capacity, midpoint +25%.
The 2021 forecast remains unchanged at between +10% and +30% of capacity, midpoint +20%.
Alpha Comment
We are very pleased with the improvement in the forecast for the 2020 year of account, the current midpoint is higher than it was for the 2018 and 2019 years of accounts at this stage of development. Both these years of account closed with profits in excess of +37.5% of capacity, therefore we are anticipating an excellent final result on the 2020 year of account. Chaucer typically hold its forecasts steady in the initial quarters, so it is unsurprising that the forecast for the 2021 year of account is unchanged at this stage.
