S.A. Meacock has announced an updated forecast for the 2023 year of account and an initial forecast for the 2024 year of account for its syndicate 727 as at 31st March 2025.
Syndicate 727
The 2023 forecast has improved to a profit between +3.0% and +18.0% of capacity, midpoint +10.5%. The previous forecast range was between +0.0% and +15.0%, midpoint +7.5%.
An initial 2024 forecast range of between -5.0% and +15.0% of capacity has been set, midpoint +5% of capacity.
Alpha comment
The 2023 year continues to develop favourably and a midpoint profit of 10.5% at this stage is the highest forecast since the 2007 year of account.
The initial forecast range for 2024 mirrors that of the 2023 year of account issued 12 months ago and reflects the normal Meacock caution as the year of account is still very much on risk until at least the end of June 2025.
