Sean McGovern and Fiona Luck appointed as Deputy Chairs of Lloyd’s Council

Lloyd’s has announced that Fiona Luck and Sean McGovern have been promoted to Deputy Chairs of the Council. They replace Lord Sedwill and Andrew Brooks. Fiona will also take on the responsibility of Senior Independent Director of the Council, subject to regulatory approval, to provide expertise and support while the search for a permanent Independent Director is underway.

Sir Charles Roxburgh, Chair of Lloyd’s commented on the appointments saying, “I am delighted that Fiona has taken on additional Council responsibilities as our Senior Independent Director and to confirm both Fiona and Sean as our new Deputy Chairs. Their combined experience and deep understanding of the Lloyd’s market will continue to strengthen the Council and guide our strategic priorities in the period ahead.”
