In light of the Government’s announcement yesterday evening, the majority of us will be working from home for the foreseeable future.   As you probably know, a few of us work a day each week from home normally and it is a routine that we are all very familiar with.   We have access to all of the same systems and we have recently been establishing improved methods for keeping in contact with each other.   Our direct lines will still reach us, as will emails.   Post will potentially present more of an issue because we cannot be certain what service, if any, will continue to be provided.   Please, therefore, could we ask that any documents that you would normally post to us are scanned (or photographed on your smartphone) and emailed to us.   If it is a document requiring a wet signature or hard copy return such as a deed, please contact us so that we can discuss the logistics of that.

It is also worth mentioning that it is often easier and quicker to update you or respond to questions over the telephone rather than to type an email response, so do please feel free to call – it will be lovely to hear from you in our new found isolation! This new situation will inevitably present some challenges in the coming weeks so please bear with us – our focus will remain on looking after our clients to the very best of our abilities and we will be working hard to achieve that.
